SEPTEMBER BEER:

Strawberry Incipient - Foeder Aged Solera Sour Ale w/ Strawberry - The closest thing we have to a flagship is Incipient - an open fermented, foeder aged solera sour wheat ale with a rotating fruit each month. This month’s version contains strawberry. $8/16oz can. 6% abv.

Shifting Baseline - Sour Ale Brewed with Bloody Butcher Corn, Oats, Black Currant, and Vanilla - “A shifting baseline is a type of change to how a system is measured, usually against previous reference points (baselines), which themselves may represent significant changes from an even earlier state of the system.” This beer represents a change for us as a company. After trying nearly every gluten free beer on the market, none of them really did it for me. We we decided to brew something that was *gluten free, but didn’t sacrifice ANY flavor. We partnered with Sugar Creek Malt based in Indiana to source some rare heritage malted corn and oats, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! $20/4 pack. 4.7% abv. *This beer was tested in a lab, and found to be under 10ppm of gluten, which is the highest possible testing standard. It was brewed in a facility that contains wheat, but as always we thoroughly clean our equipment. If you have a serious gluten allergy, we recommend avoiding this!

Rye Whiskey BA Prime Mover - Sour Ale Aged in Rye Whiskey barrels with Orange and Ginger - We brought back this classic release with a bit of a twist. This batch is extremely complex and nuanced, with the flavors from the barrel, beer, orange, and ginger all in perfect balance. $12/bottle. 8.5% abv.

Space Elevator - Natural Hard Seltzer with Mango, Ginger, & Lime - Made with Michigan beet sugar, whole mango chunks, and fresh ginger & lime… this is a perfect end to summer. Think of a Moscow Mule with mango! 6% abv. $12/4 pack.

NATIVE SPECIES WINES:

From Beyond - Seyval Blanc - Morgan Vineyard - Coopersville, MI - Orange wine - Neutral Oak Aged - To show how much variation there can be between vineyards, we are releasing two Seyval Blanc orange wines that were processed in almost exactly the same way, but sourced from two different vineyards. Tasting notes: vanilla, oak, clean, low acid, fruity peaches - Single barrel - $22/750ml

Inside the Sun - Seyval Blanc - Domaine Berrien - Berrien Springs, MI - Orange wine - Neutral Oak Aged - Part two in the Seyval Blanc Terroir experiment! Tasting notes: lots of barrel tannins, a bit o funk, and iced tea - Single barrel - $22/750ml

Anoxia - 68% Marquette, 22% St. Croix, 10% Foch - Kamphuis Farms - Holland MI - Red wine - Neutral Oak Aged - A complex, red field blend, all harvested on one fine day in 2019. We did partial carbonic fermentation to get some of those juicy fruit flavors, but it’s still a bone dry and serious red wine. Tasting notes: very dry, potpourri, light funk - $22/750ml

Inner Cell - DeChaunac - Domaine Berrien - Berrien Springs, MI - Red Wine - Carbonic Maceration - Stainless Steel aged - We are insanely excited to release our first stainless steel aged wine. This is as juicy as it gets for a 1 year aged red wine. - Tasting notes:  juicy fruit gum, bright, clean, light and crisp acidity - $22/750ml
