Blueberry Sour Ale Aged in Oak - 8.5% abv

This golden sour wheat ale is crafted in a large oak barrel known as a foeder. For each batch, we draw a portion of beer from the barrel and top it up with freshly brewed beer. The mixed culture of microbes in the foeder ferments the beer, creating an incredibly complex and layered base. Every batch of Incipient we’ve brewed since 2018 contributes to this ongoing fermentation process, making each release unique.
