The collaboration we’ve always dreamed of is finally becoming a reality, and to celebrate, we are throwing a rad release party!

Come celebrate all things Underberg with us on Friday, 9/29! Subterranea will be popping up with some delicious food, Underberg and Eclipse on Tap will be on site with tents to chat and hand out swag!

As for the story…

Months ago local beer/space podcast gurus Eclipse on Tap brought to us an idea about doing a collaboration beer with them and (freaking!!) Underberg.

To say we jumped at the opportunity might be an understatement… we leaped… sky high. Underberg and “‘Berg Breaks” have been a part of the culture at Speciation for years. From our start at the Comstock Park taproom right up to our present location on Wealthy st. It all felt full circle since the Eclipse on Tap team had their first Underberg experience at one of our Summer Solstice events.

We are so pumped to be able to make a beer inspired by the legendary herbal digestive and restorative. As you likely know, the recipe for Underberg is a highly guarded secret, but we’ve created a saison ale that we think contains some of the same natural goodness. This isn’t Underberg… It’s UnderBru, but the same care goes into this liquid. We hope you find it as invigorating and refreshing as its inspiration.

This beer is wax dipped and paper wrapped. $12/375ml bottles and draft will be available when we open at 4!
