DECEMBER RELEASES:

Vanilla Incipient - Foeder Aged Solera Sour Wheat Ale with Madagascar Vanilla - 5.5% abv - Our golden sour wheat ale, Incipient is made in a very large oak barrel called a foeder (food-er). It’s perpetually blended, so a portion of every single batch of Incipient that we’ve ever brewed is in this barrel! This creates an incredibly complex and layered base beer, to which we add a different single fruit or spice to each month. $8/16oz can - 1488 cans produced - Statewide distribution

Lazarus Taxon - Whiskey BA Dark Sour w/ Cinnamon, Cocoa Nibs, ‘Nilla - It’s a Speciation tradition: each December we release a few pastry sours. This is perhaps the most pastry-like release to date. It’s straight up cinnamon roll sour beer, in the best way possible! $12/375ml bottle - 564 bottles produced - Limited statewide distribution.

Senescence - Whiskey BA Dark Sour w/ Coffee, Maple, ‘Nilla - Really though, why not make a breakfast sour? Breakfast is the best, and it deserves to be in beer form too. Bonus points to the folks who blend the two dark sours from this release. You will not be disappointed! $12/375ml bottle - 576 bottles produced - Limited statewide distribution.

Base Pair - Brett Drei IPA DH w/ MI Chinook - Originally designed as a taproom exclusive beer… well, that idea went out the window with the latest lockdown. This is our second batch of Drei IPA, and this time we increased the dry hop charge from 2lbs/bbl to 3lbs/bbl. This batch is bursting with grapefruit and that classic Drei overripe pineapple character. $5/16oz can - No distribution.

Wolves of Winter - Seyval Blanc, Dry Hopped with Mackinaw - This wine is an example of what’s possible when you approach winemaking from the perspective of a brewer. $22/750ml - 288 bottles produced - No distribution.
