Here’s what to expect…

📽️Presentation: Join David Houghton , Professor and Chair of Biology at Hillsdale College & Director of the G.H. Gordon Biological Station, for a fascinating presentation about caddisflies; a small order of insects , with an outsized influence on the world. This talk will cover the biology and behavior of caddisflies, and what studying their population for the last 25 years has taught us about the status of freshwater ecosystem health in the North Central US.

Do you have awesome bug themed treasures that you’ve been antsy to showcase to everyone you know? Maybe it’s your favorite bug themed book, graphic novel, album art, song, poem, board game, video game, podcast, artwork, craft, outfit, movie, field guide, dead bug collection, identifying app — YOU NAME IT — if it’s bug related, bring it to our February meeting - we’d love to see/hear/feel/try it!

🎨 Volunteer Activity: While show & tell is taking place, attendees can decorate bug themed Sack Supper bags for our friends at @kidsfoodbasket . All supplies will be provided
