Join us on Tuesday, August 4th from 6-7:30pm at Speciation Cellars, as we learn about one of the most whimsical insects of Summer, Dragonflies! ✨

We’re excited to learn from bug club admin team member, Matt Bain, an Aquatic Ecologist and Entomologist, as he teaches us about the evolution, ecology, behavior, and identification of this magical species! Attendees will go home with some wonderful advice on how to become more hands on with these insects when observing them in nature!

Our good friends at @friendsofgrparks will be at the meeting to talk about our upcoming partner events; Incredible Insect Extravaganza, and a BioBlitz taking place in Riverside Park in late August!

In honor of Election Day, we’re teaming up with @snailmailclubgr to write letters to our local representatives advocating for all of the amazing insects that call Michigan home! We’ll also have some VOTE FOR BUGS stickers to hand out, thanks to a kind donation from our friends at @brownleepress ! 🐌
