Howdy!
This release is really exciting for us at the brewery! Not only do we have an insane lineup, but we will also be releasing Spontaneous Generation, our first ever spontaneously fermented beer that was coolshipped at our location in Comstock Park (and not at one of the Great Lakes).
Also, on June 8th at 10am (the bottle release day) we will have a 30l keg of Spontaneous Generation on tap. This will be our first spontaneously fermented beer on draft... ever! We will also have our 3 way collaboration with Broad Leaf & Brewery Vivant on tap at the release. There's no name yet, but it's a sour blended from 2 of Vivant's best sour barrels and 2 of our best sour barrels, with Tamarind & Cascara. It will be a release worth attending in person!
One more bit of housekeeping: Next month we will likely be switching to Craftcellr for bottle reservations. They are trusted by many of our friends in the industry to handle the logistics of bottle releases, and it will make our releases run much more smoothly! Full disclosure: you will be paying for your bottles when you reserve them, and then on release day you simply... pick up! What this means is that you must be 100% sure that you or a trusted proxy will be able to pick up on release day! Craftcellr charges $1 per order (not per bottle) for their service, which we think will easily be worth it in the trade off of a more streamlined pickup system that doesn't involve printing 50+ sheets of paper each month and checking it off the list! More info about the switch will be available soon, but we will do our best to make sure there's a smooth transition.
Bottle/can reservations begin Saturday, June 1st at noon, and end Friday June 7th at noon.
Pickup day is Saturday, June 8th from 10am to 4pm. Our taproom will be open from 10am to 11pm.

JUNE RELEASES:
Mendelian Inheritance - Tequila & Whiskey BA Sour w/ Guava & Dry Hopped w/ Mosaic - In 2018, our friends at 7 Monks lent us a tequila barrel that previously held bourbon. We blended our sour ale into the barrel with a ton of guava and a decent smack of Mosaic hops. Turns out it was one of the best beers we've ever made, but we were sad that we only got 3 kegs from the batch. fast forward to 2019, and we decided that we'd try to recreate it. This is a blend of 1 bourbon barrel and 4 tequila barrels, and the same ratio of hops and fruit as 2018. Holy cow, it does not disappoint! $22 per corked and caged 750ml bottle. Limits TBD.
Spontaneous Generation - Spontaneously Fermented Ale Coolshipped on 1/22/18 - We are extremely excited to present our first spontaneously fermented beer that was coolshipped at our brewery! We've made many batches of spontaneous beer, but most of them were for the Laurentian Great Lake series. This beer is very much lambic inspired, and if you enjoy classic lambic, then this will be right up your alley. Classic lambic/aged hop funk, with a soft acidity and a firm malt backbone. $24 per corked and caged 750ml bottle. Limits TBD.
Serial Passage - Golden Sour aged in a Detroit City Distillery Bloodline Whiskey Barrel with Mango, Ginger & Lime - Our friends at Detroit City Distillery lent us this amazing barrel, and we worked together to create a cocktail inspired sour beer! $24 per corked and caged 750ml bottle. Limit 1. Brewery only release.
Life On Earth - Sour IPA w/ Lime & Orange zest, DH w/ Mosaic & Galaxy - This awesome hop bomb is a blend of our foeder sour and a stainless fermented IPA fermented with Norwegian kveik. We then dry hopped HEAVILY with Mosaic & Galaxy at 4.4lb/bbl. All the cool kids are doing it! $24 per 4 pack of 16oz cans. Limit one 4 pack.
Common Descent - Berliner Weisse Style Ale - w/ Guava & Lime - Clocking in at 3.4% abv, this is our lightest yet tastiest Berliner Weisse yet. Crush this one in a campground, or in a lake, or in a river, or on your porch, or in the woods... etc.. $20 per 4 pack of 16oz cans. Limit one 4 pack.
