Go behind the scenes of our Laurentian Series of spontaneous beers with owner Mitch Ermatinger to taste through all of the Laurentian beer currently in barrels. We have been brewing mobile batches of spontaneous beers next to each of the Great Lakes over the past two years and now have 27 aging barrels of Laurentian beer in our cellar.
This event will include a rare opportunity to sample each of the Laurentian barrels comprising all of the five Great Lakes and give feedback about their flavor profiles. Information from this tasting will be used to help us blend batches in the future. Mitch will also be explaining the process and answering questions about how these beers were made.
Your ticket includes twenty-seven 1 oz samples of currently aging Laurentian beer directly from the barrels, and a cheese tray from Aperitivo. The guided event will begin at 7pm, and we estimate that it will take about an hour and a half to taste through all the samples. We will also pour some rare bottles after the tasting, and we will be opening up the taps, so you are welcome to stick around!
