Genetic Drift

Genetic Drift is a multi-grain Saison crafted with Pilsner malt, Vienna malt, wheat, rye, & oats. Fermented with Brett Drie, Belle Saison, house wild yeast harvested from Holland, MI off of a crab apple flower, as well as other wild yeasts and bacteria from the environment. It's also lightly dry hopped with Mosaic & Saaz.

The term Genetic Drift is one of the basic mechanisms of evolution. It's a variation in the relative frequency of different genotypes in a small population, owing to the chance disappearance of particular genes as individuals die or do not reproduce.
